BundleTec's story began in 1996 in a workshop in the industrial heart of Istanbul. Our founder, Armin Akbuğa, set out with the dream of producing fabric expansion joints, which no one in Turkey had been able to manufacture domestically at the time. Used in the flue gas lines of industrial facilities, the harsh environments of cement factories, and the critical connection points of power plants, these engineering marvels were entirely dependent on imports until that day.
Breaking this dependency by producing Turkey's first fabric expansion joint, BundleTec didn't just establish a company — it started an industry. Developing advanced materials such as silica fiber, PTFE membrane, aramid weaving, and ceramic insulation mats by testing them in its own laboratory, our company today has Turkey's most comprehensive fabric expansion joint portfolio with 5 different product series (FanTec, ChemTec, FlueTec, ArminTec, GtTec).

We start every project with a "design from scratch" approach. By analyzing the operating temperature range, gas composition, vibration frequency, and movement amount of the facility, we create a project-specific layer configuration. Instead of standard off-the-shelf products, we produce fabric expansion joints, each of which is an engineering project in itself.
Armin Akbuğa produced Turkey's first fabric expansion joint in his small workshop in Istanbul. This bold step, which ended the dependency on imported products, became a turning point in Turkish industrial history.
The first production of a PTFE layered fabric expansion joint resistant to corrosive gas environments in Turkey was realized. A solution was provided for the most aggressive process conditions of the chemical and petrochemical sectors.
